Świętochłowice - a city situated in the centre of the Metropolis Silesia, a few minutes away by car from Katowice. The city belongs to one of the most densely populated cities in Poland and in Europe - nearly 4 thousand. persons per 1 square km.
Economic nature of Świętochłowice, which for years was dominated by mining and metallurgy, through deep restructuring and ownership changes, has changed radically. In the city, obsolete, environment unfriendly technologies were eliminated. New, modern and ecological technologies were introduced. The culmination of these actions is to revitalize the pond Kalina, the largest and most important investment in the city's history.
Świętochłowice changes not only through environmental action, but also through new investments.
